We offer a wide range of lessons and practice for all levels of clay and game shooters, that are available for all to enjoy.
Booking is currently essential for all shooting, and you will be required to bring a valid shotgun certificate where applicable.
We have installed The Churchill Claymate (pay & play); a self-operated Promatic clay system, across the entire shooting ground. If you are an experience shot you can now enjoy a large variety of targets.

We are now open for Late Night Shooting! Make the most of the summer sunshine and join us every Wednesday and Thursday evening until 8.00pm where you will be able to enjoy caddied rounds and Claymate across the following disciplines:

Our simulated grouse and high tower layouts offer an advanced practice facility like no other. They are available for exclusive hire and can be used for practice, double gun practice and tuition.

26 time World Champion George Digweed has developed and perfected his shooting method over many years which is suited to both clay and game shooting. Our instructors have undergone intense training with George himself and are accredited to teach his shooting method.
As we shoot in natural daylight the last time to book a lesson or caddied round is 3pm during Winter hours and 4pm during Summer hours (except on late night shooting evenings, where it is 7.00pm).

Cancellations | Please allow 48 hours notice for cancelling a lesson or caddied round otherwise you will be charged.
Please note that E.J. Churchill is a fibre wad only ground. We stock a variety of clay and game cartridges which are available to buy at the ground including Gamebore and our own Hellfire range. Please ask a member of the reception team for further information.
